CourtyardIn 1946 a committee was formed to establish the Coffs Harbour and District Ex-Service Men and Women"s Memorial Club. Trading began on July 9 1949 and by February 1951 the club had a membership of 366. At present membership is over 22,000. To accommodate this growth over the past forty-nine years, there has been a great deal of expansion of the original premises. Two different lots of development occurred between 1954 to 1957 and then again from 1968 to 1970. There were more renovations in 1977 and again in 1981.
