Section 30(1)(b1) of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW) Registered Clubs Act) and the Registered Clubs Regulation 2009 (NSW) (Registered Clubs Regulation) now permit the Board of a registered club to appoint up to 2 additional persons to hold office on the Board, subject to the Board of the relevant club not exceeding a total of 9 Directors.

The Board of the Coffs Ex-Services Memorial and Sporting Club Limited has appointed the following persons as Directors of the Club.

Justice of the Peace (Number 122687)

Certificate in Responsible Service of Alcohol

Relevant Skills and qualifications;

 Diploma in Business

Licensed Real Estate Agent, Business Agent, Stock & Station Agent

19 years in Local Real Estate Market, 13 of those years owning and operating The Edge Real Estate.  Entered Real Estate at 18 years of age after completing year 12

Reason for Appointments: 

The reason for these provisions is to allow registered clubs to appoint 2 additional Directors who hold relevant qualifications and/or experience which might be useful to the club over the next three years.  Section 30(1)(b1) of the Registered Clubs Act and clause 23A(1) of the Registered Clubs Regulation were part of a number of recent enactments made pursuant to recommendations made by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal to ensure the Club’s Board is functional and effective

Honorarium:      Directors appointed will receive an annual Honorarium of $5000 per annum
