The 2015 C.ex Group Tertiary Education Scholarship was awarded to Josette Lewis of Coffs Harbour.

Josette completed her Secondary schooling at Orara High School in 2014 before continuing her studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, commencing a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, majoring in Sports Management.

Josette paints the picture of a motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic young woman who was involved in many extra-curricular activities during her time at Orara High School. Her community involvement is exemplary for someone of her age and includes volunteering at many local charitable events and assisting with organisations such as The Smith Family, The Salvation Army, Cancer Council and the Coffs Harbour RSL Sub Branch.

Josette donates blood regularly and was an ambassador for the Red Cross Blood Service at Orara High School. In 2012, Josette was awarded a Black Opal NSW Premier’s Student Volunteer Award, an accolade she should be extremely proud of.
